In refernce to the picture below, it looks to me like his hand aren’t bleached. You know, as in “i haven’t yet been dropped into a vat of acid” bleached.

I may be going out on a limb (for which i am famous for) but i think we might be seeing a Joker without the acid bath. A major shift in anyone’s Joker canon. The fanboys won’t like that.

Perhaps the film will end with him falling into a vat of acid and be presumed dead. In the comics the Joker is well known for getting out of those presumed dead situations with disturbing ease. If you recall, we never did see Ra’s Al Ghul’s corpse at the end of Batman Begins. As long as it is done well i like this ‘presumed dead’ style that Nolan has adopted.
