I’m gonna go out on a limb and say that acid was not responsible for the massive facial scarring that has occurred here. To me the injuries look like burns. In the trailer there’s a shot of Harvey being pushed down on a surface that looks to be getting gasoline poured on it. I’m betting that the Joker soaks half of Harvey in petrol and then sets him alight, thereby leaving him massively scarred as the picture shows.
