vatican gives ok to alien life

Praise The Lord!!
I was getting worried about this, what with my devout faith and all. But now that Bene’s given the ok i’m happy to embrace my belief in life on other worlds.

It won’t last.
Back in the 50s the Vatican embraced the theory of the big bang, as an explanation of how god created the universe.
It was repelled by the preceding pope.
On the bright side, unbaptised babies don’t go limbo anymore, straight to pain and suffering.

Hooray!
It was always a sticking point for me that those unbaptised babies got the easy way out with Limbo. What kind of punishment is that for those evil enough not to be blessed by Holy Water?

Hmmm. My first comment on this disappeared. The Catholic Church does actually believe in the Big Bang theory, ‘The Bible “is not a science book,” Funes said, adding that he believes the Big Bang theory is the most “reasonable” explanation for the creation of the universe. The theory says the universe began billions of years ago in the explosion of a single, super-dense point that contained all matter. ‘ (from the same press release).
