who will be the new captain america?
So we’ve been given six contenders. I’d only put money on two of them though.
Hawkeye and Bucky. Of those two i’d say Bucky mainly because i don’t see Hawkeye giving up the bow and arrow for too long.
No way in hell is Tony Stark becoming the new Cap because he’s Iron Man unless he intends to branch out into yet another secret identity. Perhaps there will be further psychological trauma for Tony.
Red Skull. Either the US captures him and reprograms him or he goes undercover to take them down from the inside. Not gonna be a fan of either of those.
Union Jack and US Agent. Well six contenders is better than four and these two guys have a passing resemblance to Cap. This is the only reason i can think for Marvel putting these two Z listers in here.
I do have one question though. If these are the only 6 contenders for the shield, why the fuck are we paying good money for Captain America: The Chosen?!?!

Do you have to be born in America or just an American citizen to apply for the position of Captain America? If it’s an election, I would like to nominate myself as a candidate.

I’m pretty sure the new Captain America will be Bucky. I haven’t been reading the Captain America series, but I think it’s rather obvious given the circumstances that he will be the new Cap.

After reading the latest Captain America (32 i think) i’m worried that Bucky being the new Cap is too obvious.
Smart psycho money goes on Red Skull picking up the shield so he can tarnish the name of his greatest foe.
I’m seeing Bucky in the suit but without the mask on, their about to hold a press conference and then all acorss the news they see flashes of the “New Cap” saving civilians and stopping bad guys all over the place.
Next issue shall be very interesting.
